Helping other people to achieve their goals of success in life
The desire and need to navigate the world of business and life in a successful way depends very much on your ability to know what you are really capable of.
You can set goals, create an idea of a better future, a new career and new business startup. When setting out along the path that leads to success problems will be encountered which can often seem daunting.
In this blog I write for people and help them build the vision and discover the self -knowledge that will sustain them along the way to their goal of business or personal success.
Blogging is great start for a business, a base for branding yourself and of course the place from where we can all communicate with each other freely.
Self-knowledge through honest investigation leads to a stronger character and a powerful sense of confidence in yourself. You begin to experience achievements that act as markers along the way to success.
I love to investigate business ideas, ways of improving my income and myself. I write about these things and hope that they also resonate with you and your thoughts and needs in life.
I hope that my writing about making more income and how our character and personality is related to the outcomes and goals in life, will resonate and fill a gap in your thinking that will lead to actions.
Asking tough questions and answering those tough questions about yourself is the way forwards to achievement in any endeavour or action of importance.
It’s my experience in life that people who just pick a business and start working at it because it looks profitable, tend to fail at some point. Their failure can be summed up as them realising that they hate the work they do, or they didn’t think about their real needs, their families and the wider spread of life that their business would affect.
Success is about living well, and living well isn’t just about financial success. A healthy balance of financial success mixed with a self-knowledge that is creatively used to enjoy life that helps you discover your real self, leads to happiness.
When it’s difficult for you to understand why something isn’t going
quite as you planned it, and how to readjust, re-plan and continue on your way towards a successful change in life, it requires reflection and solid knowledge.
I hope that I can investigate, study and present great posts and articles for you to read about how we can make clear headway towards our success as human beings, both financially and from the psychological perspective of life.
Change can be a mind bender of an experience. It can create confusion and fear. Just those two things are enough to send a person crazy enough to throw the towel in and call it a day – much too early along the path to successful achievement.
I started my working life as a part time milk boy at 11 years old, then I worked as a butcher’s boy until I was sixteen years old – and became a full time butcher’s apprentice.
I completed my butcher training but had an accident in the butchers shop. I became a salesman in London, and loved it, was successful but desired experience and adventure.
I became a soldier and spent a few years patrolling the Berlin Wall in a reconnaissance platoon. I loved it, I was lucky to be a soldier who worked in a Cold War, today many young men and women join the army and undergo life changing experiences as soldiers fighting in contentious wars around the Globe.
As a former “Tiger” of 1 R Hamps, I feel for them, big time.
I have always learned as an autodidact student. I prefer to sit and read, to work at my own pace and find out about things in terms of their practical usefulness in our lives. I don’t see much use in learning theories that never get implemented but seem like cool things to think about.
For example, I’m not planning on going to Mars at anytime, so I don’t don’t study the fascinating workings of how to pilot a space rocket.
My Geography teacher at school told me all about Sri Lanka, I’ve never been there. My Woodwork teacher spent most of his time shouting and throwing bits of old wood at us, I just didn’t get it with this type of schooling.
I do want to understand and use marketing, business practices and self-improvement ideas, so I study them like I was going to take an exam on the subject soon. Life is a tremendous experience that can lead to all types of twists and turns for good or bad. Each experience is a lesson worthy of a degree, at the end of it all we should all be presented with a PHD of Life.
