You are now in the position to change your blogging fortune with your Hero Attitude
Communication is the basis of doing business with the rest of the world. But the success of that business is going to be determined by the ability of your blog writing.
Blogs have been around for a long time, my first attempts at blogging began in 2006, a blog about the city where I lived in Spain. I really didn’t know much about how to blog – neither did many other bloggers.
Over the years tried and tested methods have come and gone, and the good stuff continues to act a main stay in the art of blogging.
Why do you blog?
Writers are the first people to be attracted to blogging. It seems like a natural gravitation towards having a place to call your own, to keep your writing and hold yourself accountable in writing decent stuff.
But writers are simply people who have learned to write, they have found out that writing is a powerful thinking tool that can be used to communicate with the world beyond our doors. And that creates great motivation. Most people can put their mind to it, and learn to write good blog posts.
The importance of having a blog if you’re in Business
Most of us have something to offer, some people simply want to express their opinion about things. I think blogging is for people who want to offer value to readers and people looking to solve solutions.
Often, problems are solved quicker when we search the internet and find some decent blog posts, or videos that will help us start thinking about our problems more accurately.
Bloggers do this, they help solve problems by firstly researching a problem, working on a post that offers ideas that resolve other people’s aches and pains in life.
Doing that, helping people with new ideas that you offer, is being in business. You take on a responsibility to be precise, accurate and really think hard about what you write as a solution for other people.
That type of attitude to your blog writing causes you to take responsibility, and be of service to others.
That’s how business works. Nobody can expect you to put enormous effort into creating a fantastic resource for them, and not do your best to offer a paid for service or product for them too.
If you are a writer – then you’re in Business to Make Money
If your a blogger, or want to start blogging, then your going into business, unless you’re adamant that it’s going to be a hobby for the weekends.
Business is about making money, and there’s nothing wrong with binding that in with your blogging and writing efforts.
Having a healthy attitude towards money, helps your inner Hero come Alive.
You should want to make money. There is no other way to survive on this planet if you don’t have money.
I grew up with very negative attitude towards money. It took me years to finally face up to the fact that money, and having some, isn’t bad at all. But among the working classes there’s an almost religious chant of how bad money is, that it’s the root of evil and that it destroys lives. It doesn’t destroy anything, and it’s not evil.
People act, they cause things to happen for good or bad. Money is used to create circumstances that better our lot.
To get out of poverty, to buy homes and clothes. We need money to become mobile in a very mobilised world where our jobs and work can take us far away.
To want for money is a tough place to be, and to take up the challenge to do something about it is a hero’s attitude.
It is wholly possible to change your circumstances and start making more money than you did before.
The thing is, it’s up to you. It’s nobody else’s business to tell you how, where, when or if you should start. You can start a blog with the hero’s attitude of overcoming the obstacles in life that everybody shies away from. then it’s up to you to make it work by using intelligence and elbow grease to reach your goals.
Don’t forget what’s really going on in the world. Today, there is so much money about, people have a lot of extra income to spend. This allows them choices about where to spend it. It’s also a sign that it is more possible today than ever, to change and begin to make better income for ourselves.
Change happens inside first.
Those inner changes that we go through, when they are nourished and worked on each day, cause us to act differently in our daily lives.
These new actions will create cause and effect that wasn’t there before. If you get over the negative thoughts, and negative ideas about money, then you will change your actions and start to see new opportunities to make money.
What you believe something to be is probably very true, your thinking makes sure of that – for better or worse.
“Everything seems impossible, until it’s done”, Nelson Mandela
I love this quote because it’s just a simple truth of life. Nelson Mandela went through hell in prison, he could have given up, thrown the towel in and faded away inside those cells, but he decided that even when he was locked up for 27 years, he was still the master of his thoughts. He had a hero’s attitude towards life and circumstances.
Our problem, connecting with the rest of the world
Blogging seems like a hard thing to be successful at, and to an extent, it is. It is very hard for people who want an easy way to riches. And people who believe that the world owes them a living won’t get far with blogging.
But it isn’t harder than everything else in business. It’s the same.
The reason I can say this, with hand on heart, is because it’s pure logic that businesses don’t grow by themselves.
The people who complain about blogging are the same people who complain about most business opportunities being a waste of their time. Everything they touch turns to uselessness, that’s how they see the world.
For them, everything is impossible.
Unfortunately, there are very many people who have something negative to say about every business opportunity on offer. This is why I say don’t waste your time discussing your plans with too many other people, you’ll bump into a negative nay-sayer fairly quickly.
Self trust is a key factor in becoming successful as a blogger. Creativity is another tool that will help you to visualise and create a great blog that is really of value to readers and visitors on your blog.
Trusting yourself and being creative about how you go forwards in life is to rely on your intelligence. Intelligence allows us to see the reasons why we should be positive about an idea, intelligence gives us the critical thinking that offers ideas to be creative with.
Blogging and making a success of blogging is down to you, your intelligence and your creative attitude in daily life. How much do you really want to build something great, to express your hero attitude in daily life?
I know how it feels to live daily with my thoughts, to use my smarts to overcome doubt, and to come up trumps with ideas and work that I couldn’t have known about until I stepped up to the plate that day.
Our Desire and Motivations to become Great
When you have a great idea for your blog you don’t want to wait around thinking about it too long – because you know that it’s something of value.
There’s nothing better than being able to have an offer “out there”, that you know can be of benefit and value to many people.
Blogging offers you that opportunity. To be able to have an idea for business, to put it into action quickly and start working on it each day like it’s your baby. Not letting it go is part of the exhilaration.
You can blog about success, about fishing techniques, cooking, creative writing, the list goes on and on. It’s up to you how you bring these ideas to the world.
I’ve found that because I no longer worry about whether money is good or bad, or whether something I think of is possible or not, I can trust myself and know that each day’s work is valuable effort that will pay off. This creates more motivation and a stronger desire to do my best.
Success and the Battle against Windmills
Sometimes, bloggers can waste time tilting at windmills. Like Don Quixote and Sancho Panza did in the Cervantes’ book of the same name.
To sit at our desks and think up things to write about, to stay on course with subjects and topics in the hope it will open a new vein of thought.
Our attempts to be different can lead us down strange tracks that look promising but were really only shady old pathways leading into a dead end. That’s the problem in the world of ideas, the world of the creative mind.
When this happens, it’s because we have lost our bearings. We start to see ideas that aren’t connected to our journey, but they look good so we follow them and then discover that we have engaged in pointless battles with them.
Self-discipline and Success
Self discipline and keeping focused on the real meaning of our blogs helps us to avoid these situations. You should already know what you topic is, how it breaks down into subjects and categories that suggest a flow of new ideas to you each day.
There’s little time in the day when you are focused and busy blogging. So to keep a track of your activities is helpful. I simply write a to do list which I tick off as the day passes by.
At the end of each day, I feel good about having completed everything, if I didn’t get to something, it will have to be done first thing in the morning.
Life is short, time flies, and we want to make the best of it all with what we have.
Waiting to start, or being over cautious is the common failure of many of the negative thinkers in life. They tend to end up back where they started years earlier because of indecision and fear.
It’s only when a person begins a journey do they start to understand it. That’s how people get things done and that’s how things that seem impossible turn out to be possible. It’s the active doers of the world who take risks, don’t waste their time and get on with changing their fortunes.
Here are some more resources for your journey
