How to be Sure that You will Succeed at Anything

June 29, 2019 by SeanPatrick Leave a Comment

Being sure about success and succeeding in anything is like trying to look into the future, you just can’t predict anything about it. But it is always coming at you, everyday, every minute.

Better, if you really want to be sure that you will succeed at anything you do you must look inside of yourself and get that right.

What do I mean by “get that right” ?

It’s all about yourself and how you look at the world, how your point of view puts you into a mindset that causes actions.

Your actions can be broken down into elements of intentions.

If you wake up in the morning and let your sleepiness guide you to the kitchen, drink a coffee, look out the window and then start thinking about stuff that you need to accomplish that day, you should ask yourself the question; Am I planning, or am I worrying about my day?

Are you in control of your thinking?

Your worries will take you down all sorts of rocky paths that don’t lead to anything good.

Your ability to stop and plan will guide you along a pathway that you know is going in the right direction.

That sounds simple, right?

I didn’t invent this stuff, but we are all pretty sure that it works. If you’re a person who has tried it, tested it, and continue to work with building a mindset, writing in a daily journal, then you’ll testify that it’s the only thing that we can be sure of – what we’re thinking about will always be a pretty good prediction of what will happen next in our lives.

Most people spend their lives in worry, instead of thinking about what they can do now to succeed at anything they want.

A few start to take control and make things happen and be able to succeed at anything you put your mind to.

People who begin to take control of their lives and experience changes that can be quite astonishing, these are people who have learned how to think, plan, and take their goals seriously. Deadly seriously.

In order to be a person who directs their own actions into a better future, you have to start to make changes to the way you live your life. The first step is to understand why you do things, why you act in certain ways.

You don’t need to spend time worrying about useless actions that you know you do – the bad habits, the waste of time habits. This will change when you focus on the useful habits.

Many people feel they have too much on their plate to stop and deal with things one at a time. But if they carry on that way it’ll eat up their life.

Dealing with things one at a time is to focus on what’s important. Finding out what’s important and what’s not important is the first step in discovering who you really are.

Each goal that you have, every aspiration that you secretly hold in your heart, forms the basis of who you really are, and this in turn will determine how you act – you won’t do anything else but follow these emotions of desire and need.

Your success is based on what you now know about yourself. You have already formed goals that you follow each day. They can be beneficial to you, or detrimental to your needs.

Right now, you are succeeding with these goals. You may not be fully aware of what these goals are because they have been formed through acting according to your worries about the future.

Success with the key to goal achievement

You can stop and take time to investigate these goals and change the ones which you recognise as detrimental to your progress in life.

The future is certain, it will come. You create it now. It is because of what you now do that your future is certain.

If your present goals – the things you habitually do, aren’t thought through and consciously chosen, then they will lead you into troubles. Financially, your relationships and anything you consider of value to you will be thwarted by bad goals that you harbour.

Half hearted attempts at change are two-a-penny. People wake up everyday and declare that they have a new idea, a new thought and will from now on be different. It doesn’t work like that.

Sincerity of heart is key to change.

If you can take the time, stop and think about who you really are, what you need to do to create change, then you are beginning to dig deeper and find out what you really want in life.

Finding your true self is to understand about your self-image and your self-esteem. Both of these are real, they guide you towards the objects in life that you want. Love and relationships, money and business, a secure home, a beautiful child and a lifestyle that reflects your true self.

All of us have the opportunity to change for the better. It brings a stronger sense of freedom and well-being into our lives.

But to find it, is to find yourself and no longer worry about the future, but be concerned about how to make the best of now, this moment.

That’s where true changes happen. In this moment.

That’s a fact that we know from the past – we have evidence that many, many people go through life hoping that things will change.

They believed that one day, sometime in the future they will be given time to stop and plan, to act in better ways that will change things for the better and make them wealthier, happier and more in control.

It never happens that way.

Nothing will change, the future will come and bring with it the same old stuff as today. We have to change right now. The future is a concept which we think about now. Therefore everything concerning the future, is now.

We can change now. Self image and self esteem are both powerful motivators in life.

They alone determine our actions and values.

You can’t go against them when you are busy doing things, they help us to follow our path in life. But we didn’t always have the same self image throughout our lives.

We developed a self image as we went along. Most people who are taught how to live life, when you’re a child then a teenager, then at university, being advised to go out, get a job, make an income, support yourself.

At this point in life we are having our self image built for us, by other people.

We accept the words and actions of well meaning individuals who try to help us by telling us what to do.

So we do it, follow advice and end up in a job that isn’t going anywhere, and a lifestyle that seems cramped and without vision.

It all becomes the norm in our lives. Until one day, we realise that it can’t just go on like this – “I didn’t sign up for this!”.

Then we become dissatisfied about everything and complain. Often not understand the root of the problem, or how to change it.

Most people just carry on. They don’t take control of their life. They accept that life doesn’t have much in it for them.

This feeling that the future will be better comes from an inherent belief that there is another person out there who is in charge. That they will sort things out – if they don’t, it’s an injustice.

But this thinking comes from the upbringing we all experienced of being looked-after by parents, by listening to orders from employers and teachers.

We have to banish it from our minds and begin to think for ourselves.

You can make the plans, carry out the necessary actions and be the person who has sole responsibility for the results – you will also be the person who reaps the benefits of the results, completely.

Sincerity of intention can only come from a self-image that is congruent with your goals. The goals that you have chosen should be logical and fit with your needs – life isn’t a grab-bag of stuff to have – you must have goals that reflect your self-image, and your self-esteem.

Self-image is who you know yourself to be. You discover this by observing your own actions each day. You ask questions about how you deal with situations like stress, conflict and challenges.

This gives you feedback on what needs to change or which actions are creating conflict instead of solving issues.

Self Esteem is how you emotionally feel about yourself. Self esteem let’s you get on and do things when it’s not having a conflict with an action. You may be involved in an action that goes against your core values – your self-esteem will quickly step in and try and change things.

Self-esteem is your guide in life about how you act, and what you accept as valuable mentally, spiritually, and materially.

Some people have a conflict with money – they have been brought up to believe that money is a negative force in life.

They were told that it breaks relationships, causes distrust and hate, destroys marriages and lives. This is total BS.

Without money we have no food, marriage, homes, and we can’t look after our families. Basically, money is a good thing as long as it is how the system works.

It is not selfish to want for cold hard cash. It is a good thing, and the right attitude.

Don’t spend your life trying to create a world where money doesn’t count. It always does.

Sincerity of your intentions is essential if your want your goals to be effective in your life.

That sincerity is based on you knowing what you value in life.

If you have a goal of making more money where you want to create a business and offer a service to sell, then your service should be in line with your beliefs – you can’t sell something that goes against your beliefs.

If you believe in a product or service then you will sell it.

This is how we match our goals with our beliefs and self-esteem. Our self-image draws us towards the ideas and values that we treasure in life.

Everything that you think about is an expression of your self-esteem, it’s your vision of life. You can change it when you know it doesn’t fit with what you want. self investigation gives you knowledge about yourself and your needs.

The clarity of image, and intention that you have when you think about your goals determines how real they are. You will know it when you choose a solid goal that “fits” you, it will click, and feel congruent with everything inside of yourself.

The congruence caused in your mind causes you to take things more seriously and that’s when creative action happens. When you just know it’s right.

All of these ideas can only happen now. They should take a few minutes to think about, but a lifetime to live. You should make these ideas your way of thinking, your way of life and then experience how the change of pattern causes life to change for the better.

When you set goals think of them as doable goals, and possible goals.

A doable goal is a set of actions that you can clearly define in your thoughts and therefore see in real life happening.

A goal that is possible is to make it clear and logical. If you can truly perceive it in your mind, then it is possible – and that’s all you need to know.

Putting all of this together is simpler than telling it, you only need to practise this way of living and thinking to experience results and the fruit of your thoughts.

  • Sincerity of intention is key in realising your goals. Always check your goals for congruence with your self-esteem and image. If it doesn’t fit you, you will experience conflicts all of the time.
  • Ideas and images which you have about life, your wishes and goals, all stem from who you really are; build your self into a strong image that gives you self esteem and a clear conscience in life.
  • Do the above by keeping a journal on how you think, what you want, your wishes and dreams that you can form into goals.
  • All of the above will align itself and become a motivating force in your daily life. You will experience the powerful feeling that you must do and act on the goals that you have set if you build a strong intention.
  • When it all fits together, it is logical. That’s when you experience interesting and powerful emotions that drive you towards your goals.
  • Do it now, the future isn’t here yet, and it looks like its late.
  • Your goals are directly linked to your self-esteem and your self-image.

The only way this will work for you, is to take action now and experience it happening today.
