There is a lot of chatter about which works better, text advertising or banner adverts. I think text links that are sitting in your posts in a strategically positioned point, are effective. I also find that readers will click through on a banner ad so long as it is simple and factual – not click bait looking, or flashy.
When you think about the topic of your blog, investigate it a while before committing. You want to know that it’s really in your heart to continue writing about it, making videos on it, and still feel good about doing it in 1,2,3, years time.
The advertising that you put on your blog is called Affiliate Adverts/marketing. This is a legitimate way to make money. It’s no different than selling a product on behalf of a company and taking a commission that the company pays you.
The people who buy the products that you advertise, do so because they want to, they need the product. They will buy it someplace else if you don’t convince them through your writing that to buy now, and through you, is the best option.
Selling makes the world go round and it is the basis if all economies. If people don’t search out customers and sell to them, I’m certain that there will be a lot of buyers who are frustrated at how difficult it is to find what they want.
If the products you offer are close to your heart and beliefs, then you will be highly motivated to offer them on your blog.

You will only know that your ideas are good if you live with them for a while. You need to commit to blogging. Then write posts and create content. Think deeply about your blog and how to make money with it at some point in the near future. Many successful bloggers start to make income after three to five months. This is because they are razor sharp with their work. They don’t let-up, or take long breaks away from the business of blogging.
Other bloggers have to go through a steep learning curve and first begin to make an income after a year or two.

I find that writing, blogging and constantly thinking up new ideas, is a great way to live. Each day is an opening to a fresh start with some pretty wild notions but some great thoughts about articles and blog posts.
